Was just into Maritime Hobbies and Crafts in Halifax NS and gave them my two LGB Yellow passenger cars, and a Yellow LGB Combine car to have lighting put into them. They are going to use LED Strip lighting and wire it to a 9 volt battery with a on and off switch. This work is being done by Greg and I am really looking forward to them. It certainly will change the appearance of these cars and I will be able to get some night shots with the lights on.

BLR-VISIT
Had a visit from Jason Brown and his father Dennis who was visiting from Chatam Ont. It was a very enjoyable visit and G Scale was discussed at length, ran the LGB 2-6-6-2 Mallet and the Lgb 2-6-0 # 248 Mogul. Everybody was impressed with the size of the layout in a bedroom and the detailing that has been in such a small space for G scale. Jason has just bought a new home in Sackville NS and has a new G Scale layout in his backyard, from the pictures on his web site, it sure looks great, I cannot wait to see it later this summer. Wife calling gut to go bye for now

Two friends and myself drove from Halifax NS to Moncton NB to attend their annual train show. As always they put on a great show. No G Scale, but several N,HO and a Small Lego layout. There was a lot of sellers as well. I pick up a Aristo Coal Car and I also bought 30 hand made fur trees ranging from 11" to 18". They were all made by Scott Jay of the UMG Group from Summerside PEI. BLR NEW BOXCAR
Was visiting some friends in New Minas NS mid January. I stopped at a Dutch Chees Store and they happened to have some LGB Trains would you believe. I bought the LGB CN BOXCAR. Looking at it the name CN is in French on both sides, I thought that those cars were Enlish on one side and French on the other. I bought it anyway, for I always wanted a Canadian Road on my layout. All of my rolling stock is DRG&W.

BLR NEW LGB 2-6-0 MOGUL
Went to the Darmouth (NS Canada) train show on Dec 4th. It was an excellent show, not as large as the Truro NS show in November. Met a lot of friends that I haven't seen in awhile. There was a G Scale Layout and one G Scale table. On another table a gentlemen who was selling photos of a Nova Scotia Railway had on his table a LGB 2-6-0 Mogul (Lake George & Boulder) #2119D. He had an excellent price on it and I tested it on the G Scale Layout, she ran beautiful. I bought it right away. It sure looks great running on my home layout. I would like to wish everybody a.

BLR New Trees
As I mentioned I bought 20 fur trees ranging 10-12 inches. Well I have placed them on my layout and all I can say is that they are beautiful. So beautiful that I ordered an additional 25 fur trees ranging from 12 to 14inches in height. Since then, Scott is now making up to 16 inches high fur trees. So I ordered 10 of them. I cannot wait to get my additional 35 trees. My layout will never be the same. I guess that I am going to have to take all new photos, for these trees make a drastic change to my layout. I guess that I have created a lot of work for myself. Oh well that's life. I love it.
